Why do so many minorities look up to this man? He operated on nothing but idpol and his divisive politics continue to divide America today.
Porky even gave him an entire holiday to celebrate idpol.

Thankfully a based REAL working class man taught this stupidpol guy a lesson
Did you know he was a fed too? FBI even wrote LETTERS to him

You laugh but if it wasn't for people like MLK the American proletariat would have long become united by now.
Thank go this is one of the few forums that bans idpol in all it's forms.

Originally held up by porkie because of his conciliatory approach, as opposed to more militant people like Malcolm X or Robert F. Williams. I'm pretty sure if he were alive today, he would be a conservative who thought blacks were holding themselves back. Make sure to lock your car if it's ever parked on a street named after him.

You are the moderate white liberal he talked about
In the 40's even unions banned black people

He's palatable to liberals, because he encouraged peaceful–that is to say "toothless"–protest.

MLK has been white-washed and sanitized by historic revisionism, he was a little more radical in reality.
If you are looking for black socialists from the US, there's people like Fred Hampton or Stokely Carmichael who were much farther left than MLK.
>>

 No.460448

>>460444
Hampton, yes. I don't know about Carmichael. Huey Newton was before he got all fucked in the head. Bobby Seale was, although he has mellowed quite a bit since the old days. Damn, who do we have besides the Panthers?

Stokely became a full on black nationalist, he doesn't belong in the same tier as Hampton.

No, you and MLK are liberals that continue to divide the country with idpol.

That's the white washing the liberals gave him after they realized how useful his idpol was.
His protests constantly erupted into violence further alienating real proletariat.

MLK's family won a civil suit where the US government admitted they killed him.
He had done his job and now they needed to tie up lose ends. He was killed right after JFK. It really nad nothing to do with his poverty stuff.

Black nationalism is idpol. The Black Panthers are all idpol heros.

The idpol that MLK and Black Pathers espoused was a part of the neoliberal capital revolt.
Neoliberals want blacks to hate white white workers for the some what marginal benefits they enjoy under capitalism.
Instead of working with white workers and realizing that they too were victims of racism, they blamed Jim Crow on them.
The flood of black workers into middle class job markets eroded the labor power of white workers, further increasing racial animus.
MLK and Black Panthers did not care about this effect because they did not care about class, only race. They should have worked with white workers along class lines, not race. The schisms they created continue to haunt American politics into today.

>They should have worked with white workers along class lines, not race.
The Panthers did. Allying with a bunch of white and latino groups is exactly what got Fred Hampton killed.

And there were Jews in the SS. Opportunistically aligning with other groups doesn't make you not woke.
The Black Panthers were first and foremost black nationalists, i.e. Idpol. That's what they were remembered for.
Hampton was killed because the FBI feared a "Black Messiah" someeone that would unite black people along idpol lines.

>Opportunistically aligning with other groups doesn't make you not woke.
Opportunistic? The Chicago Panthers were taking a hell of a risk by organizing with the Young Patriots, the Young Lords, AIM, and the rest. That shit was a dangerous proposition.
>Hampton was killed because the FBI feared a "Black Messiah" someeone that would unite black people along idpol lines.
Jesus, where did you pick up this ahistorical bullshit? Hampton was killed, because he was uniting the above groups under one banner. He wasn't uniting black people (that shit he left to Stokely Carmichael); he was uniting everybody with an axe to grind against the U.S. government.

This is dumb both MLK and the Black Panthers were very class aware. the issue was abolishing class in America a is a bit of a pipe dream in most cases and abolishing Segregation was much more feasible because you actually can appeal to the existing power structure for that.

The US is almost as deeply polarized now as it was during MLKs time. The Republican party is almost entirely white idpol, and historians all point to the Civil Rights Movement as being the cause.
Even fucking Republicans will tell you that's what motivates their base.

Oh, it's idpol alright, but it isn't white. Their shit is solid "God and Country" trash. That is exactly what the whole MAGA thing is about. The actual racists just muster with them, because they encourage people to have thoughtless but deeply-held opinions about things in general.

Literally nazi logic of putting your people first no matter what even if you fuck others over. Also lmao at the schizoid fantasy where the organized working class died because of muh uyghs. If anything, full emancipation wpuld have lowered the wages and made US market more attractive for porkies. But what happened? They all fled to China, along with porkies from Europe (where the working class also died despite there being no blacks added into the workforce), all because the Dengist traitors to the internatonal working class opened their labour market to the capitalists.
