Just look around and you'll see why. None of the flags are pure and free of retarded shitposting. The small group of leftcom posters (I'd guess there's about about 5 of us) that haven't completely given up on /leftypol/ by now are perfectly capable of effortposting and I did a few today both with and without a flag but with the absolute state of the userbase it's like throwing pearls to swine. At the end of the day, you usually can't trust a website, even if the admin acts in good faith. It's hosted by a provider who can probably get subpoena'd by whatever government the site resides in. ISPs can track IPs in and out. This is the same deal with almost any website and is hard to avoid without making it darknet-exclusive.
leftypol.org supplies a Tor node and allows proxies and usage without JavaScript or 3rd party connections, so people protecting themselves can use the site pretty securely. But at the end of the day, this site isn't designed to handle those problems. It's a public imageboard.

The current imageboard software (tinyboard/vichan/lainchan/leftypol) seems to have all been made and maintained without ever thinking properly about non-English letters. Let's fix that.

Have you had any issues with non-English letters? Please report any issues with examples here to help us fix them.
(If the site won't let you post a word, try posting it in a picture or writing it on another website like privatebin/cryptpad/pastebin and linking)

We already know that some word-filters are incorrectly filtering words with non-English characters (which will be fixed soon) and some letters breaking the post function >>6927 but there may be more issues that we can fix at the same time.

Post any features that have language issues: reporting, search, filenames, whatever.
