Under socialism companies serve the government.

pardon me but what the fuck are you talking about?

socialism is not when the government does stuff

also in capitalism companies want to extract as much profit from people as possible, they only serve their shareholders, how do you not know that?

>socialism is not when the government does stuff
Socialism is when a centralized bureaucracy controls the economy. So the path to most profit comes from serving the bureaucracy rather than the end consumers. That's why everything has a rainbow flag on it. It's something the bureaucracy wants not the consumers.

>in capitalism companies want to extract as much profit from people as possible

Which means they have to give the people what they want. In a free market companies live and die depending on whether people buy their shit. That means the people are in charge not the shareholders.

>pardon me but what the fuck are you talking about?

This shouldn't be hard for you the wrap your head around, the billionaire class don't want to be at the constant mercy of the masses. They don't want to be one Bud Light incident away from losing everything. They don't want a free market.

What they want is to centralize the economy under a single political institution. They will give the people some illusionary power (you get to vote for the orange twitter troll or the corrupt dementia patient). Regardless of who or what you vote for the billionaire class will sit atop the centralized economy exploiting you forever.

>Socialism is when a centralized bureaucracy controls the economy.

Okay… that's not a definition I've heard of before, what makes you describe socialism that way? Most people I imagine would say when workers control the economy or the government.

>Which means they have to give the people what they want.

This is far from the truth. Most companies gatekeep necessities and fleece the population for access. Or they provide a fake version of the actual thing that people want and because a lack of anything real under capitalism people buy it anyways. Or they force themselves into becoming a middle man. Or they get people addicted to their product.

>In a free market companies

There is no such thing as a free market nor has there ever been. All markets are regulated. Free markets wouldn't work at all.

The rest of your post I actually agree with, like this part:
>Regardless of who or what you vote for the billionaire class will sit atop the centralized economy exploiting you forever.

>Most people I imagine would say when workers control the economy or the government.
Some kind of bureaucracy controls the economy and then the "workers" or the "aryans" or whatever your brand of collectivist brainworms is controls the bureaucracy. That's the promise at least.

>Most companies gatekeep necessities and fleece the population for access. Or they…

All the things you list are examples of companies leveraging the state to exploit the people. With no state power to artificially limit supply or competition the market becomes a democracy where people vote for the best goods with their money. And 1 million people with $1 each can outvote any millionaire. That's why the free market is so dangerous to the ruling class.

>There is no such thing as a free market nor has there ever been. All markets are regulated. Free markets wouldn't work at all.

Ignorance is not an argument. People buy and sell drugs and guns on the internet everyday with no government oversight. Everyone who tells you that free markets can't work profits from the government having some control over their segment of the economy.

>Regardless of who or what you vote for the billionaire class will sit atop the centralized economy exploiting you forever.

So you understand that the billionaire class are not capitalists.
