I am a socialist in almost every aspect in my life. I help organize, I promote worker rights, I don't ignore feminist and racial struggles. Yet when it comes to console exclusivity I transform into the complete opposite of everything I believe in. As an owner of a console, I enjoy exclusives and I hate it whenever an exclusive gets ported to PC. I know every game being on every piece of hardware especially PC is the right, moral, and "proletarian" choice, but I can't help but rage and denounce at the sight of any exclusive, even the ones from a different console, gets ported.

Maybe it's some residue PTSD from being in a tight-knit Demon's Souls community when I was younger, and seeing the community flooded by morons and petit-bougie assholes when the Souls series was ported to PC.

What do you guys think of console exclusivity?

The console is hardly a problem. I hope you worked hard to get one and now trying to validate that work, you try to find any advatages of console gaming over PC gaming, tho PC can be a lot more on the same amount of work (plus extra little to assemble it) and you probably know about it. I guess that might be an actual coping mechanism.

PC gaming sucks now. It's all Denuvo cancer, buggy ports, shitty optimization and overpriced hardware. The corpos show no respect or care towards PC gamers and everyone just goes along with it. Don't get me wrong, I love PC gaming, it has clear advantages. But over the years it's harder and harder for me to recommend it over just buying a console.

Fuck NVidia and Denuvo for making PC gaming worse and fuck Valve for allowing this shit to happen. I can't even stand Gabe Newell anymore, it's all his fault. Allowing Denuvo to poison games, caving in to Nintendo and payment processes' censorship demands. This whole monopoly on PC gaming led to predictable results.

As a Sonic fan, I do not understand this fandom at all. As I grow older I start to understand why that IGN employee said "Sonic was never good." Yeah, sure, Forces is hot garbage, but that doesn't suddenly make '06 good. It feels like whatever a Sonic fan grew up with as a kid becomes a 10/10 masterpiece, and the fandom seems to be generally averse to change (is it because of neurodivergence?). And I don't understand the fans who defend the Meta Era either. Like, you can criticize both '06 and Forces, why only hate one game? It doesn't make you superior to '06 glazers in any way. At least Sonic haters aren't biased to this or that time period. Not like I think they're right but I at least get where they're coming from, their complaints make perfect sense on the surface level. I do sometimes agree with JP purists and classic elitists but they also tend to complain about miniscule shit like character designs or Western canon/characterization or gameplay changes.

I think they're nice, people should give 'em a chance, though they're definitely hit-or-miss. Also, Sonic Team can't port for shit (not even 2D Sonic anymore) so playing original console releases or with mods is kind of required.

Fuck '06 though, nobody's gonna convince me this game is good. Same for Forces.

I was complaining about it first but now I accept that it's a good game that does exactly what it's intended to do. Copying good levels from other games is better than fucking them up like what Forces did. People made fun of Lost World's artstyle but in retrospect it was vibrant and bursting with life compared to Forces' washed up textures and sloppy level geometry. Like, why tf are there those flying paper-thin platforms with grass? It doesn't look good even for an acid trip level design of classic platformers. How tf does a PS4 game look worse than fucking Sonic Unleashed that came out in, like, 2007? No Sonic game was able to top Unleashed in graphics. NONE.

I recently saw someone post about the ABOMELOK0408 game that was from the dark web around 2024, I don't know if people are still talking about it or looking for it; If someone previously downloaded that game is unknown. But the person that made the iceberg was some reddit user, I assume they are seeking information about it, what I know about ABOMELOK0408 is that it was made with Godot Engine and it was made by a Snapchat user that distributed it! It contains a lot of viruses, The creator gives her Snapchat name and QR code if you search carefully, She does this for people to ask her questions about it if they have any. She admitted to making the game again you can find that in search results, I highlighted ABOMELOK0408 in yellow, one reddit user asked what it was about and the creator of the iceberg said there's not a lot of information; I know this game was distributed on the TOR network but I didn't bother to download it.

Share you best outcome from playing the game!

This was my best so far. My strategy was to first get the military under control, then do land reform and set up the economy, hold an election with as much legitimacy as possible, and finally to build up stuff like medicine, education, and infrastructure. It went alright for the most part, but the IMF is going to kill the country later, much like what happened in Yugoslavia.
