There have been a few posts recently about the lack of popularity of our imageboard. In order to help promote Leftychan, let's get a bunch of stickers printed, send them out to our users and go around sticking them everywhere from our campuses to bus stops to yo mommas phone case.

ITT we need to figure out what to print and where. Phase II will be gathering funds, organizing logistics and having an admin purchase and send them out

The main thing we need is a design

We need a design that's eye catching, funny, and includes the URL. I'm admittedly shit at art so I'm relying on the rest of my comrades here.

The second thing we need is to compare our printing options

Right now I've only looked into using VistaPrint to print picrel as an example.

I'm assuming this is also for paper stickers, which aren't as good outdoors.

That's pretty expensive. If you have a chance, please call up your local print shop and get a quote and report back. I think the idea is to go for volume and cheap price rather than quality.

$180 for 450? That doesn't seem that bad. Try, uh… OfficeDepot, Kinko's, uh… I forget what other dwindling office stores do prints. Figure out how much it would cost to buy the sticker sheets and then print the designs manually at one of these places.

I checked a few sites.

VistaPrint: It looks like it's 150$ to print this 1.5" x 2" for a roll of 1000, but the design needs to account for bleed area, see the second pic of the preview they gave me. If they were square, it would be 130$ for 1000 stickers that are 1.5" wide. If you want the custom aspect ratio but 2" in height the price jumps to over 300$

StickerYou: (first picrel is their preview), it's 200$ for a roll of 1000 stickers 2" x 1.51"

This is without tax or shipping, the material for both is "White BOPP" which likely is a standard plastic sticker, not those shitty paper ones. (the best ones are stretchy vinyl ones but nvm).
