Am i the only one who thinks life in a city is absolutely terrible. Most people don't even know how bad it is until they finally leave. I mean everywhere i go there are always people. An overpopulation of them a infestation if you will digging giant cave systems out of a dying land, few animals or plants you will find there are being smoked out domesticated or are just sick and dying or already lie dead rotten on a cold stone surface.

it feels so dystopian its unreal. The first thing i WILL do when i get the chance is leave and live in some forest hut or on the outskirts of a very small village like a hermit. Living WITH nature instead of competing it or beating it like a pulp

Becoming less and less dependent on other people or the intergovernmental institutions since long term they are not sustainable and will always fail. If you are wondering why you always feel like soy, why your material goods or shiny clothes feel hollow or empty, why feel like just a cog in the machine wasting away for someone else's burning material desire, here is your answer… you live in the city

I have lived extensively in both, from the bumfuck middle of the forest as a hermit surviving, to the middle of a sprawling megacity, and I can tell you one thing for sure, you take yourself (your baggage, your conditioning, your skills) wherever you go. The things humans do in cities is analogous to what animals do in forests. Its the hamsterwheel that is samsara. I think you, as a city slicker, will actually find rural life to be more bullshit than city life. I've seen it happen both ways. I will also say that where your story ends is usually a result of where you started. Good luck finding yourself lainon. It can take a few years or a lifetime

I left my city and I hated it. I just came back. We don't live in a major metropolis, but, it's around 800,000 residence. I came back. I was living in a bum fuck middle of nowhere town in idaho for 8 years and fuck that. Those people are backwards.

City life is bad only in the sense of a lot of pollution and smothering but that doesn't make it inherently bad.

In nature, animals make their own metropolitan districts.
