The more I live, the more I realize that what people often consider intelligence is just pretentiousness. Posh language, "refined" taste, all this superficial bullshit that makes porkies feel good about themselves instead of feeling like good-for-nothing dumbasses that they are. And even STEMcels aren't immune from this since they can also be bigoted, reactionary or even woke and have the most braindead takes when it comes to philosophy and social sciences. So what is an intelligent person?

I think an intelligent person isn't afraid to speak Cockney or appear less intelligent. Or enjoy "low" art or whatever it's called. And they don't pretend they know it all, they just try to enjoy life to the best of their ability and be as open-minded as they can be without just blindly agreeing with what others say.
