Most of the ways humans measure intelligence is superficial. I think a better way to measure up ones intelligent is their ability to actually hold ground on their ideas through logic and reasoning and the ability to understand one is wrong. Ultimately intelligence is something humans crafted and there are many ways to measure it but the academic ways of measuring it are flawed as op stated.
