Here's a crucial thing, and I'll keep saying it until people understand it - the suicidal impulse, the embrace of death, the realization of how bad it really is, is not contradictory to revolutionary value. It's actually what we need. We need people who reach that point and reconcile with it, and there are many - the problem is not them, it's the wholesale refusal of existing western orgs to weaponize people who are willing to do things which are beyond all fear of penalty or death for a higher cause. These people haven't just been failed by individualism, in large part they've been failed by people who profess to wish to organize, but then refuse to employ or instruct desperate, determined militancy.
I feel as though for all the genuine material destitution which exists among the western 'left,' there are still plenty of people who have jobs, income, etc. - but that's not going to revolution, it's going to
hobbies. It's going to dumb bullshit or it's going to empty electoralism. And then these folks ask what they could possibly do - there are folks in America who will never have a stable job that can sustain them, who see no hope in the world, who live miserably as failures, but who still know what's right, who can still aim a gun, who can still take photographs, who can still collect information, but instead of arming them, instead of coordinating them, instead of trying to get anything useful out of them, too much of the American 'left' spends part of its cash on pastimes and hedonism and part of its cash on projects which, while sometimes beneficial, are perpetually ineffective and yield ever-increasing monopoly on violence to the state. The American workers are not ready even for what is already here, let alone for what is coming, and the only chance in Hell to improve the odds even marginally is to arm and to proliferate arms, and to utilize people who are not afraid of death rather than wasting them on sunshiney projects until they just off themselves.

The question of ideology is mostly useless - if we are sincere about workers' resistance, then we need to build worker power, and we must start with ourselves and those we already know. Those who are willing to form into militarized groups must do it, and within these groups, apologia for arch-capitalist, landlordist, imperialist class and war politics should be purged.
Before anything else, the workers (including
any group with "prole" on the end) need to put resources collectively towards preparation to resist militarily, and that starts from the very bottom; whoever is willing and able is obliged and has no excuse but to begin doing this.
