I would just run through the fire.

I would expect to get burned a little bit, maybe a lot, but if you go as fast as you can, it can't take you longer than 30 seconds to make it to a lower floor and be fine.

There has to be some stairs or a service massage or a ventilation shaft or something, there should be fire extinguishers you could spray yourself down, you could find a janitor's closet with a hose or a bathroom or a fucking drinking fountain, you could certainly find water and wet yourself down, there's got to be some kind of way.

I'm not saying everybody would survive, but I'm surprised how easily most people just GAVE UP and didn't even TRY to MacGyver themselves out of the situation. At least TRY to make something happen, at least die fighting.
