Religion is mostly misandrist.
I'm an atheist, and I never liked religion as a child, but I still respect people who want to believe something, however that doesn't stop me from criticizing certain ideas of religion. Unfortunately subreddits like r/atheism was taken over by feminists who always claim religion is "misogynist" and "patriarchal" which has never been the case in any religion. Some atheists talk about religion being homophobic, but they never talk about religion being misandrist because many feminists have hijacked atheism.
Feminists claim Christianity is "patriarchal" and only benefits men, yet Christians worship female virgins and even the Bible says something about women being safer around bears than men like if we were some kind of monsters. The Bible predicted this debate and sided with the feminists. The Bible also opposes homosexuality, but only when it comes to gay men which according to the Bible a man who sleeps with another man should be stoned to death, it doesn't say anything about lesbians which proves that "lesbophobia" is not a real thing, only homophobia towards bi and gay men. Christians also oppose sex work and porn, and opposing sex work and porn is misandrist because the argument against porn and sex work is that men become weak consuming these products. Plus I've noticed that most female teachers who get exposed of being pedophiles, are Christian teachers. I also grew up with a very Christian mother who punished me when she found I was bi, and wanted me to save myself for marriage with a woman. My father was not as religious as my mother.
Same thing with Islam which even the so-called "anti-feminist" right-wingers claim is the "most misogynist" religion, but the truth is that it is misandrist as Christianity. A lot of people claim hijabs and burqas are misogynist, but that's not the case, the point of hijabs and burqas according to religious Muslims, is for so that men don't look at women because it is forbidden for men to look at women. Religious Muslims would rather men being blind than seeing some parts of a woman. Plus men are not even allowed to touch a woman nor shake hands with one, and a man who touches a woman can even get punished under Sharia law. Plus, Muslim countries have criminalized homosexuality for gay men only, but not women.
Judaism is also as misandrist as Christianity. Judaism is the religion that came up with circumcision for boys only, and it is still practiced by ultra-Orthodox Jews who make the most disgusting things to baby boys. And a lot of Jewish women fantasize about their sons being circumcised, so they are liked by a woman in a traditional marriage. Also, Zionists which are the religious extremists of Jews, have killed more men and children in Palestine than anyone else. the Pro-Palestine movement talks a lot about how women are the most affected by Zionism, but it is men who are the most affected. In fact I also read an article where IDF women raped Palestinian men and boys, yet conservatives will side with Zionist zealots.
Hinduism and Buddhism are also misandrist since they oppose masturbation, maybe a bit less than Abrahamic religions, but they are still misandrist and worship women more than they care about men of their communities.
And with this post, I wanna clear up that I don't hate Christians, Muslims, Jews, or anyone from any other religion. I'm ok with moderates and secular people, but a lot of their religious beliefs they follow are misandrist, and religion is a weapon to make men submit to a misandrist society.
