The communization theory is an interesting alternative to vulgar Marxism but the Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei is still skeptical of its Marxist elements.

In one of the prefaces of "Eclipse and Re-Emergence of the Communist Movement" (forgot which one), Dauvé does say that one "must read Marx, not Marxists!" So yeah, this isn't surprising. But Dauvé does critique the concept of a "Marxist" (though I sadly forgot the argument he made for that).

From what I know, the communizer journals/groups which are more distant from the ideas of Marx are Tiqqun, Endnotes (though they have multiple writers who each believe in the different sub-groups of Communization Theory, so a concrete form of thought can't be attributed to the whole journal), and The Invisible Committee. The latter is more close to insurrectionary anarchism.

I wonder if I'm allowed to move this thread to /leftypol/. There isn't much discussion happening in this board, in general.
