The programming and philosophies of people are based on assumptions, distorted instincts, and imaginary concepts and conditions. You strip away civilization and culture we are nothing more than a highly adaptive animal with potential for physic abilities.
What I find so strange is that for some reason all the "wisest" people all seem to agree that the non wise people are utterly garbage and without a society that attempts to program its people will instead end up sharing existence with savages. Even as far back as Plato there was the idea of needing some kind of controlled education to ensure most people have their heads so filled with garbage that they're too confused to act savage but also so confused they don't even fight against the control. The reason you get to the conclusion that without these systems we're just animals is because for some reason a fuck ton of people really do seem to be almost animals. As though life is really just the few real individuals out their trying to argue with one another on how the hell we should tard wrangle the rest of society.
And honestly I really do think that this mentality is true. Just look at history. I hate using them but I asked AI to try and get me a ratio of "people important enough to be in an encyclopedia compared to normal people" and it said around 0.02%, or about 1 in 5000. Of coarse not all history is recorded and not every real smart person changes history but lets' say we multiplied that by 1000 times just to be generous. That'd still mean only 1 in 50 people would be considered smart and interesting enough to be able to not be just a dumb savage. Statistically that means 49 in 50 people in all history are just useless nothings that serve no purpose then to hopefully give birth and aid in the upbringings of that 1 in 50. And even then this number is off people with a wiki, there are retards so stupid throughout history they got mentioned.
So really I think looking at society is just statically going to make you feel sad because evidence shows that most people are savages at worst and utterly forgettable at best. All you can do is improve or delude yourself to become or think you are that 1 in 50 that does cool shit and isn't like the rest.
I mean I get what revolutionaries of the past are speaking on of education. As you stated only about 1 in 50 will be conscious enough to treat history objectively as a thing to be wrestled into submission, but, this creates a dilemma because; all societies exist on propaganda. This is a fact of life. No society can ever take an objective stance on itself. Western society, Rome, Greece, China. USSR, no society lives propaganda free.
My point being here, that a society that controls the education of its population will ultimately simply be priming them for the needs of the state not their needs as individuals, or, a collective. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I guess we can have that argument. Ultimately, I think he bad out weighs the good, but, I do know that any people that exist will have to over come this and that society will need to be centered around education as an objective fact not a tool that is to be utilized for the forwarding of sed society. This is why I tend to lean on a democratic syndicalist form of politics.
