i've been rejected by women a lot, and i haven't had many good experiences with women growing up (terrible mother and sister) but i really can't say that it is all women or that are that terrible. maybe what it is is that, at least for me, i seriously did not reflect on the way i approached women and relationships. i idealized romantic love and that is why rejection hurt, but now basically all of my friends are women and it feels better that way. they're much more supportive than the guys i have been around.

i would say even the idea of romance has been commodified, really. any and everything we idealize as pure isn't so. it still exists, sure, but in a different form, though i do agree that sex culture is a result of capitalism further commodifying things.

but i don't think it matters if women are different biologically. at the end of the day, social conditioning is what changes how a person behaves the most. whether one has a dick or a pussy doesn't matter on its own.
