I'd say that this is because, until recently, "yaoi anatomy" was still the standard, and most yaoi anime is pre-2010 iirc. Like the other anon said, maybe shonen-ai is more up your alley (it seems that you would prefer something fluffier and less focused on the sex). Try also browsing myreadingmanga.info, they have a lot of gay stuff from trap hentai to bara but also non-explicit BL (known as shounen-ai outside Japan).

I love the dark atmosphere, and it's not only the artstyle but also the story, music and pacing. The plot is also pretty interesting too, and it's more than good as a setup for the porn. I was about to make a post about Seishoujo's art. This is related to my previous post, but I like the realism in his style. It seems that many eroge fans are put off by his characters' proportions, while others love him for it. That's often the case with decent nukige, honestly. I don't expect a literary masterpiece from an anime porn game, but something interesting enough to keep me entertained even after the sex happens (especially if the sex is somehow part of the plot) will make any work memorable for me. You can tell the creators put effort and love into those works. And I realized this thanks to a rape BL game, kek. The R18 rating and the porn excuse gives authors and artists the freedom to explore darker themes that you don't often see in other kinds of media (and in some cases might be absolutely impossible to portray in something other than porn/erotica).

It's been a while since a romance manga has made me this happy. Unfortunately, it's a oneshot, although a very sweet and satisfying one. It's pretty short, so everything happens so quickly that sometimes it gets confusing, and a bit hard to tell what is just the protagonist's fantasy and what's actually happening. I like the art, it's nothing spectacular, but it's not bad, so it's not distracting.

I just wonder what the hell happened in the end. Did it really happen? Are they just meeting for the second or third time? Or are they in a relationship? It's not just me who wants another chapter either (plenty of people in the comments agree), but somehow an open ending like this isn't bad. I could interpret the ending however I want.
