Proposal: Split /b/ into two parts. The two proposed boards would be;

/siberia/, which functions similarly to how /b/ does now, but with looser moderation in general. It would be the repository for threads moved from /leftypol/ and other places and would be generally free from interference, with only the most offensive/Nazi-esque content being removed.

and;

/leftytrash/, which would be a social offtopic board which would be more heavily moderated to remove spam and similar content. It would be the board where 'blogposts' and other similar 'social' offtopic threads from the rest of the site would be moved. As implied by the name, it would be a spiritual successor to the /leftytrash/ of leftypol yore.

I vote in favour of the proposal.

I mean delete /b/ and create those two board in its place. As for moving threads, yeah I guess we'd move the top few pages of threads, not sure if I'd bother with every single one.

disagree leave /b/ up and make a new leftytrash or whatever name social board. Perhaps not leftytrash since it's a /get/ thing but I am flexible on that.

Proposal: 1 month absolute ban on pol and blatantly reactionary posting in order to discourage further raiding/astroturfing from 4chan/pol/ and related communities

I would be OK with creating leftytrash as a new board but I'm strongly against doing anything to /b/. It would be destructive and the users would hate it (and I would hate it.)

I agree generally regardless of how its handeled in the details exactly

That said I would favor leaving /b/ as is and just creating a new leftytrash board
