I could never really get in to GrOb's sound but the side project Kommunizm put out some really great experimental stuff.
Letov's political views were incoherent garbage.

Music's pretty hit and miss. Don't understand a lick of Russian but have heard him accused of pretty much being a fascist, not sure if I should believe that.

I don't think he was a fascist but one of the creative types who was disappointed with the censorship in the late USSR and rebelled against that, only to turn towards this weird kind of pro-communist/Soviet nationalism once they saw the country being assraped by neoliberalism. (I think they were present at the storming of the parliament in 1993) The Nazbols in Russia seem like they were less an organized political party than a counterculture movement uniting a bunch of different groups purely out of opposition to liberalism, and iirc Dugin left fairly quickly once he realized they wouldnt work as an organized platform for his weird third positionist traditionalism

they are good, They aren't fascists, they just embodied a true punk spirt better then any western band

And that's why he's so good, he embodied perfectly that whole period in Russia. Though if anything he identified with pure anarchism (aka a blank sheet to say whatever the fuck you want)

Well to begin with he was principally influenced by the 20s soviet avantgarde, futurism and all that jazz, I think it was a failure of the
soviet system to absorb these people as much as he was an edgy fuck

So-o-o yeah, they are garbage, but not incoherent.
