To begin with, I wouldn't use D&D.

I once ran a campaign set in 1920's America, the PCs were part of the mob, but secretly their gang was infiltrated by the Comintern. In the last game, they discovered that the target of a hit they were contracted to do was Herbert Hoover. One of the PCs was a infiltrated glowie, so the revelation of their target (who they managed to assassinate by doing a Carrero Blanco) sparked a fight and almost all the PCs killed each others, and the only survivor fled to the USSR.

Pretty fun imo.

I'm playing in a campaign DM'd by an anarchist right now, so that's probably what it's actually going to look like since I'm annoyingly marxist. I've got around it though by playing a /pol/tard-esque Guh-nome whose trying to get to the bottom of the Draconic conspircay.

BTW, What does /hobby/ think about GURPS?
