If you read the quick summary it seems to mean unhinged attention seekers.

So OP is saying our society is basically controlled by narcicists?
I mean that makes sense when you consider the history of the united states and how society has evolved to what is basically a hyper individualistic society.

I don't think we ever exited the culture of narcissism, as OP's moronic "antifa footsoldiers" video asserts. I increasingly believe that narcissism is the natural consequence of a financialized economy where the game of professional, occupational bullshittery in the financial industry spreads to other areas of life as it asserts itself as the dominant form of capital. People's individual feelings of self worth become dictated by their ability to communicate superficially, and as this attitude becomes systematized by non-profit and educational complexes funded by finance, the elevation of Cluster B personality disorders is its natural evolution.

I thought this was already a common narrative on the left? I mean it kind of makes intuitive sense: Capitalism alienates all of us from eachother, furthermore it pits us against one another in a varacious climb to the top.
Thus, everyone, eventually, becomes cluster B.

>Capitalism alienates all of us from eachother, furthermore it pits us against one another in a varacious climb to the top.
OK but it's different in an industrial economy vs a financialized economy. The ruling class in an industrial economy has an interest in making productive workers compete against one another for the lowest wages but there's no reason this competition necessarily has to come in the form of promoting narcissistic personality traits. I hypothesize that it's more common in post-industrial, financialized capitalist economies precisely because that kind of phoniness is an occupational advantage among financial parasites and they have a vested interest in justifying it with institutionalization. I'm very interested in if a place like Singapore, which has a highly service-oriented, financialized economy, has the same culture of narcissism as the US and UK.

Oh no yes, I agree. I should clarify what I mean by "competition" under industrial and post industrial societies is two veyr different things.

Everyone in the United States today believes they will be the next warren buffet if they just work hard enough. That is the type of social behavior I am talking about that creates cluster B psychopaths.

Isn't a foundational belief of Christianity that everyone sins?
>>

 No.475038

>>475011
Christianity has a concept of original sin. Something along the lines of everybody is born with sin-debt, and they have to redeem them selves during life to pay it back. Not sure if I explained that correctly or whether Christians still uphold it.
>>

>>475038
That's certainly not how all denominations of Christianity view original sin. Many consider Jesus to have brought about redemption so that people don't have to worry about that.
