The last time India and Pakistan "got tactical" with each other, the US intervened and shut it down real quick, but that was a long time ago, when the US still had loads of international political capital.
The Russians and the Chinese have send delegations, it seems upon request of the quarreling parties. Lets see if they can fix it.
Keep in mind that Pakistan gave a lot of weapons to Ukraine, while India did not. So at the moment it's a major crap-shoot because the balance of power is out of whack. Pakistan is currently under the rule of the US aligned military dictatorship faction, that's probably why they did thee weapons transfers, while the Pakistani people mostly wanted Imran Kahn who was sort of a socdem reformer, but yeah democracy did not prevail unfortunately.
