If you give any weight to the Principia Discordia, and you shouldn't, because it tells us so: I don't know about Malaclypse the Younger, but Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst was certainly involved in circles around forms of anarchism. Historians pretend Lord Omar themself published a newsletter called Zenarchy (it was really Ho Chi Zen).

The mere concept of Every Man a Pope has clear suggestions of anarchist horizontal structure. It would be absurd to claim that Discordianism isn't a product of anarchists tired of anarchism.
