When the gas chambers burn the gas it becomes permanent co2 that stays in the atmosphere for thousands of years. The trees cant pay the cost. 1 tree only absorbs abount 2.4 gallons of gas per year. even IF the trees absorb the ancient forests' co2 up from under the ground, the forests will just burn again to release the co2 again any way. You'd have to grow trees and then bury them again to undo the work of the gas chambers permamently pumping all that co2 out of the ground. You would have to grow forests and bury them under round on purpose some how.
