Hello, I am an Alevi living in Turkey. I have been a supporter of Communism and Juche for six years, and I used to defend the Baath regime. However, with the fall of Bashar al-Assad, my hopes for communism in the Middle East were dashed, so I adopted a pragmatic approach and sided with the stronger party; that is, I joined the Israeli camp and became a Zionist. Recently, however, my hopes have been revived, and I have returned to my former self.

Why?
>and I have returned to my former self
Meaning what, politically?

This post sounds like a shitpost, but if you're for real, you need to explain why the fuck you thought supporting Israel was valid and how you turned around on this thinking.

Also what's going on in Turkey in general politically?

Baathists were historically enemies of Arab communists, I'm not sure how you could support both.

Communism cannot arise in a cesspool of sectarian ethnic feudalistic islamist mental illness. The Baath project was a national secular bourg progressive project. Syria was the only hope for a modern polity of the Arab (and other levantine) people. The problem was that Arabs are retarded by so much bullshit that they have inherited from the past that it was doomed to fail.
The region needs an apocalyptic war of hygiene.

The problem is that the Gulf autocracies are recently-created western puppet states which are presently used to craft and fund sectarianism and CIA/Mossad ops (like ISIS and HTS) in order to divide and rule. The problem is also that countries which don't play ball with this scheme are subjected to years of intense economic warfare, proxy war, and direct war by global imperial powers. Countries whose leaderships do agree to kneel supplicate, divide, and distract parts of their population in much the same ways that the U.S. supplicates, divides, and distracts its own workers - through a combination of treats, vapid spectacle, mass surveillance, tyrannical clampdowns, petty idpol, state manipulation of religious institutions and aesthetics, and the creation and perpetuation of a large underclass without equal rights to do hard labor. The good collaborators can help package this all as "authentic" and deck it in religious garb, but at the end of the day they do so not out of any unique Arab-ness, but rather for the same reason that American churches now preach that to be rich and to be a zionist are the very meanings of divinity.
