Why have you not accepted cosmism?
In my search for a foundationally secure sociopolitical and economic system;
Marx was correct in his analysis of class.
But he missed the mark in so as nature itself is the enemy of the masses. We fight and persist against a system of entropic decay. The human race must take flight to the stars. It is literally the only way. Humanity is flawed. Our systems, ultimately, will be flawed as well. Humans are dumb, humans need to not be dumb. We must educate people (at least 25% of the population) we must over throw the system of capital and set up the system we replace it with that it forces society to become "philosopher kings" so to speak.
To do this you need:
1. Higher Phases of communism
2. Computerized control of economic signals (pricing, need, quanities, etc etc)
3.You need to set up a the macro workings of society to be upheld by "philosopher kings" so to speak.
4.Syndicalized networks of workers and workers bodies working in the lower stage of the economy.
5.????
6.PROFIT
The major issue with ideological foundations such as communism, fascism, liberalism, etc etc…not only are people flawed, so, any system given time will faultier, but, furthermore, is ideological rigidity is very good for getting movements going and even achieving your goals, but, the nature of systems, as they break down, is dissolution of the population. Because people are flawed, systems break down. So, furthermore, any system you construct must also include dialectical materialism so you can anticipate any flaws or contradictions that may arise. Contradictions can arise that you could not see till you got over the horizion.
We must escape the prison of earth.

It's not just "living in space" It's colonization of the universe, if possible, and at least colonization of the local cluster.
It is a biological imperative because history has shown us that the universe is hostile to our existence. If we don't get off this planet then humans will, at some point be destroyed.
The failures of the economic systems of Capitalism, Liberalism, Socialism in various forms historically, facism. These are all parts of a political and socio-economic grasping in the dark so to speak.
To truly achieve this goal is to break the barriers apart and figure out a pragmatic synthesis for the development of history under the lense of dialectical materialism. The points I made are merely a conclusion of tracing that path. You have to be able to, predict, not with 100% certainty the development of history to a degree and build a political and economic system that follows this metric.
