>Taylor Swift
>Lil Naz X
>Billie Eilish
>Kendrick Lamar and

>Taylor Swift
>Sabrina Carpenter
>Dua Lipa
>Cardi B
>Ed Sheeran
>Justin Bieber
>most boy bands and
>most K-pop artists

>what if i release my music and nobody clicks on it
I don't think it's bad to be supported by a record label but those pop idols are clearly marketting before everything else. Sure, Jung Kook is very talented, a great singer and a great dancer but the first concern for the execs when they hired him was that he was a pretty boy who can be marketted to tween girls. Essentially the poor guy was used as just a commodity to sell, no wonder why he went solo.

>I heard of Billie Eilish being an industry plant that was used to make Apple Music dominant or something, also her parents are musicians
I still think that her music is a way for her artistic expression. Or is it her brother who writes her music?

>wonder why he went solo
just because he has a solo doesn't mean he left BTS or that they are disbanded, several idols have had solo activities while still being part of their group (such as Big Bang) and some BTS members were already in mandatory military enlistment which lasts two years, and the last members will be done with theirs in June 2025, so unless an official statement is released about members leaving, i don't know why you think that and thats the tea

Alternatively, what if you play live? What if you find someone to jam with and jam with them?
What if you never record anything?
What if you record something but only release it as CD-Rs?

You know what? Maybe the edge doesn't matter after all.

Have you ever listened to a song so edgy and so stupid that it made you physically cringe?

Yeah probably, but I haven't bothered in years because I don't like listening to stuff I don't like and I haven't been in anybody's car in a while.

You don't have to physically be in a car because some have subwoofers turned up to the max.

Some Nat King Cole for the crowds. Oscar Moore on guitar.

This doesn't really fit in here, but I don't wanna make a new thread for midcentury classical crossover stuff. This is Oscar Moore's brother doing a version of "Warsaw Concerto" primarily based around piano and jazz guitar. There's an extremely faint bass you can barely hear in the background.

He's Igor Letov, literally one of the Nazbol Party founders along with Dugin and Limonov. His politics were all over the place, he was a dissident in the last years of the USSR but after capitalism came he turned against the wave and was big in the schizo 90s counter-culture close to nazbols and communists. Was a fascinating figure of the time.
Then he retired and became an eco-anarchist stoner bro and died of drug use lol

From his words:
>"Раньше я называл это анархией, теперь я называю это коммунизмом"
<"I used to call it anarchy, now I call it communism."
