From realm displaced
To world anew
A vow was made to break
Torn from the few
The trees have all
Now been replaced
And the mountains
Now bear their face
The land that spake of promise - thusly raped
And willed to decay
Verdancy
Unflourishing
Mankind drinks from the poisoned well he made
In his endless circle of towers
Clouds of black gather in the sky of ashen grey
Over man’s hallowed grounds
Even the mountains
Bear their facade
The winds moan sadly
Through withered forests
And the rivers
Have gone still
When at last theres nothing
Nothing left to conquer
Then there shall be nothing
Nothing left at all
