This album from 2012 is really something - an unusually spiritual, momentum-heavy war metal album with doses of oldschool Death Metal (Autopsy, Morbid Angel) and late '80s Bathory. It's a genre with a lot of 3 minute songs that feel like 8 minute songs, this has 2 10 minute+ songs that feel like they could be longer, and it's still intense.

Pest's 1998 single, in the badass thrashing heavy / black metal fusion style which kind of came into its own in the late '90s. There was this little wave of black metal groups with this militant sound and image where the music was like a mixture of 2nd wave black metal and first wave, with maybe even more trad. metal influence, and here with have the '90s black metal equivalent of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the cover courtesy of Chris Moyen.
