There's a Nintendo 64 app called retro-crypto that can encrypt data and generate wallet addresses and stuff.

Because what do you trust more to encrypt your messages, your "smartphone" or your N64?

That's kinda cool but how do we know they implemented crypto correctly? Cryptography libraries have to be audited, and an n64 probably lacks some of the hardware support a modern processor users for crypto, meaning it would have to be re-implemented in software, and who knows if they did that 100% correct.

You'd be surprised how much power the N64 has, if you look at the github it's mostly just stitching together existing libraries: https://github.com/bowler-bear/retro-crypto

However, more code review is still needed before this can be recommended for more than testing. (Fixed github link after I had it wrong before)
