Btw is it okay to throw water if the lithium battery explodes while charging?

No don't water the lithium, that reaction will produce hydrogen gas. A damaged battery might ignite it in your face. Use a grabbing tool to put a damaged lithium battery in a fire resistant container like a ceramic flower pod and put it outside until it has finished burning out. You can put sand on it.
