If you have something to say, say it to my face. This conniving backstabbing behaviour is pathetic. I deleted the replies made from the user's vpn after he was banned in the preceding hours entirely consisting of the derail in the antifada general that the users complained so much about, additionally the user was ban evading. The user broke rule 4 and called for graphic genocide of jews and disabled people. The user received a one day ban on his (vpn) IP from /leftypol/. The user then immediately returned to complain about his sentence in that very thread, violating his ip ban and further derailing the thread and violating rule 4. Comatoast then without asking the team unbanned his one IP and made a public apology under his name tag. I deleted that users post history which entirely consisted of derails made in that thread (because he switched to a fresh ip address for it, possibly in anticapation of a ban) I also deleted every offtopic post in the thread pertaining to the one ban, a majority of which was complaing about said user.
The issue I ran into was the complete unwillingness from the two other mods on at the time to delete rule breaking content from that one user that was further derailing the thread. This has been an ongoing issue and I brought it up in congress to get feedback from the users, even the most self proclaimed anti-moderation user in the matrix told us that it makes sense just to delete the post a user is banned for before it can generate (you's) and was OK with us deleting offtopic replies. Additionally we specifically passed a proposal recently to bar moderators from unilaterally lifting bans, which was ignored by comatoast. I have agreed to consult more with the rest of the team before deleting a banned user's post history, however this is still an issue we have to address, and was in response to lifting the ban on a user without consent.
These calls for purging me off the team are childish and pathetic, and you should be ashamed you would refuse analysis of the situation in favour of thugishly lashing out at me over disagreements in moderation when I have made an effort to come to an understanding and to address wider issues with the feedback of the userbase. As they say, don't shoot the messenger.
