That's a nay from me.
If the idea is that the character limit is hurting the userbase (as it was stated elsewhere), I think this vote is looking at the incorrect reasons.

If this was the major sore point of people, enough to make them leave, we'd have massively more resistance to it. Fact is that we don't. We occasionally get people circumventing it, I think that's fine and acceptable. MOST threads absolutely surpass this limit with no problem at all.

Implement Weekly Agendas for 1 month as an experiment.

How it works:
Every week, we discuss and vote on the current agenda, and decide next week's agenda.

The agenda is voted on from Monday UTC to Friday UTC. On the last second of Friday UTC, votes close.

Proposals require at least 3 total votes to be included in next weeks agenda. Proposals can be added from Monday UTC to the last second of Friday UTC.
