Apparently something revealed by this meeting is that the American military is comically officer heavy. It seems there is about 1 general for every 1000 soldiers. Reminds me of the situation in Britain where they have more admirals than naval vessels.

Well the United States has been wanting to start a war with Iran for a long time now.

Back in 2017 there was a story about Iran diffusing some kind of underwater bomb plot to attack a US ship. My takeaway was that the US was going to false flag its way into this war. I can't find a source right now (google is useless start documenting your own shit!) but I'm sure you've heard more than one story about WWIII breaking out because of US and Iran over the years.

The rest of what you wrote is accurate, but I disagree about this. The amount of sway that Zionists have over US foreign policy is actually huge; Iran is the prime target because "Israel" wants them to be, and destroying Iran serves Zionist interests above all else. The ambition of Israeli leadership is expansion and total regional hegemony, and it's not a coincidence that US war against Iran serves this goal; same with US war and ops against Iraq, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt, etc. The US isn't behaving "rationally" in a nationalistic capitalist sense, it's acting in service of an increasingly small clique which is dominated by Zionists (who actually are acting in the interest of their own ethnonationalist death cult ideology) and MIC war profiteers who don't know or care about preserving the US as a functional empire. It's not a big charade, the US leadership really is captured by a mafia-like group who prioritize a different state. What is happening today at Quantico?

Administration officials said the name “Department of War” would be used in official White House correspondence and public statements. But a more permanent change would require Congress to pass new legislation. To that end, Trump added he would ask Congress to codify the name into law.

The new name has been widely interpreted as a reflection of a more aggressive foreign-policy posture under Trump. Since taking office for a second term in January, the Republican has overseen bombing campaigns in Yemen and Iran.

The US has shifted over 30 tanker aircraft from Europe to the Middle East, in scenes very similar to those seen days before the outbreak of the 12-day war.

Iran has been focused on demonstrating military strength through new missile tests and aircraft acquisitions, which could certainly trigger a new conflict with Israel.

In recent days, I showed that four additional THAAD launchers have been installed to defend Israel’s skies. Israel does not have more than 300 defensive missiles, but with the THAAD systems and the US ships stationed nearby, it could have around 700 to 1,000 interceptors in total. While this is fewer than during the 12-day war, it remains a significant number.

A new attack would indicate that Israel and the US do not want to give Iran time to rearm or rebuild its radar and air defense systems.

Such a war would be catastrophic for both sides. Although Iran is still assembling its air force and repairing radar systems, it possesses a vast arsenal of missiles.

A new Israeli strike could target air bases and the recently purchased MiG-29s still on the ground.

During the June conflict, Iran successfully concealed nearly all of its aircraft and helicopters, preserving its units from damage.

Israel destroyed very little Iranian military material but dealt a heavy blow to Iran’s military and economic infrastructure.

Hossein Noushabadi, director general for parliamentary and consular affairs at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told the Tasnim news agency on Tuesday that US immigration authorities plan to deport about 400 Iranians.
