What are some comfy GBA games to play on your phone?

I don't have controllers or anything, so something like mario or sonic are hard to play with touchscreen

Slower games
Things like Hamtaro: Ham Ham or Pokemon and Pokemon rom hacks are easier
Recommend some

Advance Wars maybe? It's turn-based strategy so you don't have to worry about speed or precision. Great game too

Improvements of the N-Sane Trilogy as per Crashmania:
>All games have auto-saving now. You don't need to beat Tawna's bonus rounds in the first game to save, since the game unobtrusively does that for you every time you beat a level or reach a checkpoint.
>The Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment from Crash 2 and WARPED was added to the first game. Taking notes from the sequels, the first game now gives you extra masks if you die too many times before reaching a checkpoint, then replaces certain crates with checkpoints if you're still having trouble. Boulders will also slow down if you're having trouble outrunning them, like in the second game.
>The floor in Toxic Waste now has marks where the bouncing barrels will hit, making it much easier to position yourself accordingly.
>Chase levels in the second game have a trail of green squares before each dash pad so you'll know when you're approaching them.
>A bird can be seen flying into the alien sign post in Road Crash. This is a hint on how to reach the level Hot Coco.
>Some bosses get cartoony symbols over them when they're vulnerable to let you know it's safe to attack them.
>An aiming reticle was added to biplane levels.
>Biplanes no longer snap back to a position parallel to the ground. You can also slow down using the Circle button.
>Extra fruits have been added as hints above invisible platforms in the first game and after you hit the switch in Up The Creek.
>TNTs always explode nearby crates regardless of Crash's distance.
>Many precarious platforms now telegraph when they're about to fall down.
>The bounce crate behavior from WARPED was applied to the first two games, so you always get two fruits per bounce.
>It's easier to spin an enemy into a specific direction.
>The second island in Crash 1 is horizontally inverted to make the navigation consistent.

I mean it does kinda sound like they fucked it up if jumping is bad. Like, it's a platformer. Nobody cares about some minor UI changes compared to that.
>>

 No.9802

Have you actually played the game or are you just shitting on >le games journalists? They rounded the edges off the player's collision box, making it more like a pill then a box, such that he'll slide right off a ledge if he only just barely makes it on. It's not much of a problem in 2 or 3 but some of the jumps in 1 are set up so that you only can only just barely make it from the edge of one platform to the edge of another, and the pill shaped collision box makes those jumps twenty times harder then they should be.

Not being able to complete a level because a jump is now nearly impossible more then compensates for all the signposts they put on optional secrets or QOL fixes like TNT crates exploding predictably.

Finally got around to playing this recently and I love it. It's basically a cross between tower defense (in singleplayer anyway) and a management game. It basically addresses all the disappointments and frustrations I've had with Factorio over the years in its failure to progress its game development. PvP is a unique sort of RTS where the emphasis is on who can manufacture the best defenses and armies to overwhelm the other player. What does anon think about Mindustry?

I wish I could enjoy these kind of games, because I'm pretty autistic, but also a perfectionist and not autistic enough so I will be annoyed by them. I prefer games where you manage people to managing machines.

Halo doesn't have enough ammo pouches, with the absurd amount of bullets he carries around, he even has ammo for guns he's not currently using. Come on. I'm not playing infinite if the combat doesn't actually evolve. Increasing polycount and raytracing isn't important, this isn't a movie.

This just shows what a terrible fucking map Hang Em High is.
All the classic Halo fans never stop jerking off to CE maps but they're SHIT. For Hang Em High specifically everyone stays on the upper levels because the rocks at the bottom don't provide any cover and there's no reason to go there unless you want to pick up active camo. Literally a shitty map where 95% of the playspace is never used and people never stop COOMING over these horrible asymmetrical maps that need to die.

I can't stop playing this game. I don't mean that I play it for hours or days non-stop, I mean it is the only game I play when I do play. I really liked Post Scriptum, and even Verdun. But for some reason it doesn't have the appeal of playing the same fucking maps for the nth time. Maybe because the other games are realistic simulations, where the enemy is some unknown shape in the distance, much like in real life; while counter strike is a game where you play against other people directly. There's a lot of psychology involved, and reading the other team, or predicting where someone will be, sneaking there and waiting for them. Because you knew they were gonna go around that corner. Not intuition, because you trained and learned, like a rat in a maze. Yet give the option of a wide map and relative freedom with nearly fifty people on each side vs a small, tight course, 5v5 and damn the latter is way more fun.

Thank you for reading my blog. Let's play some csgo sometime

What the fuck is going on with the localization for this game? Have any of these writers even actually read early modern English? You can't just stick "thee" or "thou" anywhere in a sentence. They have actual, specific grammatical functions and can't be interchanged randomly. "Thou" is always the subject of a sentence. "Thee" is always the object. "Thine" is possessive. It's honestly really embarrassing that this dumb brain shit is present in a game this big. I know you don't play the game for the dialogue but this is incredibly simple basic shit.

I think it's going for King James Bible, not Shakespeare.

Dark Souls dialogue is much more
>The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
>He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
>He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
>Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
>Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
>Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Or
>In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
>And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
>And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
>And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

The problem isn't the style, but the grammar itself. Surely somebody who knew how that kind of english works should have proofed it.

tbh cyberpunk as style over substance seems, to me, the most valid form of cyberpunk.
try to meld the DIY-ness of punk to technology and you're either going to get free software movement stuff, which is lovely but more legalistic and geeky than usually comes to mind for punk - but take away that geeky legalism and you're left with bootlicking cunts who's main contribution to software is to let corporations use their code.

when you go broader than that, into what sort of ideas are generally conjured up by cyberpunk, you just wind up with "our current tech dystopia but aesthetically pleasing and where your pointless life has at least some narrative purpose", which is by definition style over substance rather than any sort of actual punk movement.

>Shadowrun is a cyberpunk visual novel role-playing video game for the Sega Mega-CD adapted from the Japanese version of the pen and paper RPG Shadowrun by FASA (which was created by Group SNE). It was developed by Japanese company Compile and released on February 23, 1996 in Japan only as both the last Mega-CD game released in Japan and the last game released anywhere on the Mega-CD/Sega CD.
Is there an English (fan)translation for this somewhere?
