Boomers and the death of the incel

This article from a Wall Street magazine, hand wrings about how the Boomers finally leaving the workplace en masse is going to cause a labor shortage and a windfall for Gen Z.
This mass exodus from the workforce was supposed to happen 30 fucking years ago. But because of Boomers' staggering avarice and selfishness Boomers clung onto their jobs, homes and positions of authority as long as they absolutely could and now that even the very youngest of them are in their 60's, death, illness and just becoming outdated and unable to adapt to productivity increases with tools like AI, are forcing them out of the market.
The incel phenomenon is a purely economic issue. Now with 3rd wave feminism allowing women to earn a sustainable wage independently, men go from being a necessity to survive to a huge liability if they're not bringing something beyond a meager wage to the table.
And many men simply don't have anything to offer a partner than a wage. They're not handsome, refined, monied, and increasing not white (which in a de facto apartheid society does make a difference).
The labor glut created by the boomers that the boomers were themselves spared the effects of, created a huge underclass of young men that had to complete with entrenched boomers that built their political power during the greatest economic expansion in modern history.
Then the Boomers, with nothing else to do, stayed in the labor market 30 years longer than they were expected, creating a huge back pressure of labor demand that will be uncorked all at once in the next few years.
Incels are the complete product of neoliberalism. Neoliberalism that was built on the seemingly endless labor supply provided by the baby boomer population. Neoliberals are the brats of the post WWII explosion of in the rate of profit that the utter destruction of European capital in WWII caused. And these neoliberals thought that good times would last forever and did zero contingency planning.
Many Gen X'ers, Millennials, and Gen Z'ers comment on how 'good' the Boomers had it. Once this labor shortage starts in earnest, it will make those good times look quaint in comparison.
Younger generations are far and away more educated than Boomers are. Boomers actually had issues graduating high school, and the ones that did have something closer to a middle school level of education. That's why Boomer leaders like Trump, talk like a 12 year old.
In contrast Millennial and Gen Z have some of the highest rates of college degree completion rates ever recorded. And even the ones that never attended have higher reading and writing comprehension skills than boomers. Entire industries like social media, have been built on the fact that Millennials and Gen Z are articulate to a degree older generations never approached, contrary to all the bashing these young people endure.
It's literally a fact that if you walk into any university class today, that the students sitting there have the highest autism score of anyone that has every sat there in that university's history on average.
This gives Gen Z and Millennials a unique relationship to the means of production. Anyone can turn a wrench on a production line like Boomers did in the past, but highly education workers are not interchangeable. Not even between fields, you cannot replace a Hydraulic engineer with a Marketing major even if both of them have Master's degrees.
This will exponentially compound the leverage these younger workers have. There will be no huge Boomer pool of workers who bought a house in the 1980's for a fraction of what a home goes for now, that can comfortably tolerate suppressed wages decade after decade.
This will create a plethora of high wage earning men. Men that will be able to provide a lifestyle that will supersede any real or imagined golden age that preceded it like the 1950's. This will make them the most eligible bachelors in the world. People will be gobsmacked at the standards women have now. Think about it, so what if you're husband is a little ugly, when he provides a lifestyle that only a lawyer or doctor can now. Would you turn your nose up at that because someone's teeth are a little crooked?
Ironically, the boomers that yelled at 'incels' for being lazy and losers are the root cause of said incels. Once they're gone, so too will the incels.
It'll be interesting to see how Gen Z and Millennials use this new found economic power. Will they use it to seek revenge on Boomers? I think they will
Also it will be interesting to see how all these 'incels' react to suddenly being desired. I think they will feel betrayed and not date any of their fellow Western women. You'll see an explosion of passport bros that far outstrips the numbers we see today.

How much do you guys read a day (time, pages)? What do you consider ideal? Do you devote markedly more time/note-taking to theory/philosophy per page than other non-fiction or they pretty much the same?

Reading for the first time in years, I'm not really sure what I should be aiming for as a baseline, especially since my schedule is pretty open. I'm reading a rather long history book at the moment at the rate of about 20-50 pages a day, yet it takes me hours to get through due to extensive note-taking and writing down words I want to commit to memory. I enjoy it and it seems to pay off, but I can't deny it's almost prohibitively meticulous. There's so much I want to read between now and this time next year that I'll never get to if I keep this pace. Just wanna get a ballpark from you guys.

Also discuss whatever you're reading now, plan to read, other questions you have about reading, note-taking, and so on that isn't fit for /edu/. OP is just a springboard.

Mainstream pop culture sucked even before AI

I hear shitlibs complaining about generative AI ruining art, and while I generally agree with them here I argue that mainstream culture was long gone even before AI took over. It obviously took a long time before it was ruined but games like Concord, Veilguard, Callisto Protocol, Andromeda, Starfield and Highguard were shit even if they didn't use AI while Clair Obscur was good despite using it. It seems like big corpos just want to crunch and rush everything up as much as possible while shoving every "current thing" up their asses along the way, with AI being just one of those "current things." Or perhaps the corpos just decided to pander to techbros instead of the wokies now? Regardless, it's clear to me that this process of decline of mainstream pop culture was happening for a long time. All this AAA slop is no better than AI slop to me so it's perfectly understandable why people are happy when AAA devs are fired, even though I'm not sure firing them is gonna fix the fundamental problems with these AAA giants.

Basically, just play indie games and watch indie movies, I think all this big-budget slop should have been euthanized (except for Eastern works, they're fine… other than isekai, romcoms, 3D donghua and TV dramas ig… and some Nintendo franchises).

Btw, what really grinds my gears about AI is that you can't afford any decent gaming hardware because of it. Also, DLSS 5 is hot garbage.

I believe both sides can be quite extreme so here's my balanced take:

Yadda yadda, I know who Adam Green is, about the Ehrman talking point, and how this subject can be touchy to both Christcuck and e-crusader secularised midwits here, so I’ll be blunt here:

The “consensus” doesn’t mean much since it’s mostly made up of Christians and Christian-sympathisers who engage in confirmation bias and gatekeeping to discourage any critical opinion on the historical Christ theory. Given that Ehrman himself relies on this very unreliable consensus for his book on Jesus’ historicity

Not believing in Jesus’ existence as a historical figure isn’t anti-Christian as many non-mainstream Christian sects like the early Church-era marcionites and gnostics assert the notion of a mythical non-physical Christ. On the top of that, much of Judaism (and by extension Zionism) rests on the notion of the Old Testament as being 100% true and historically accurate text, whilst Islamic doctrine holds the existence of a historical Christ. So by negating the existence of a historical Christ, and by extension undermining the value of the Old Testament as a historical text, Christianity and Islam and Judaism are effectively undermined

With that out of the way, let me be clear that I’m not 100% confident in Christ’s non-existence, but nevertheless I’m not convinced on the existence of Christ as a historical figure for the following reasons:

There’s no evidence for the existence of Christ dating back to when he was canonically alive. Every alleged proof for his existence as a historical figure date back to decades and even centuries after his death.

There’s no mention of a Jesus Christ being crucified in any surviving Roman documents.

There’s far and few in-between evidence attesting to Jesus’ existence beyond the gospels, which are themselves unreliable and of dubious historicity as pointed out by Russell Gmirkin and Robert M Price.

Among the non-Christian sources, none of them are contemporary to the canonical Christ’s lifetime (i.e., the 1st century) despite Jewish concerns at the time being well-documented. And of the ones that exist, most either repeat earlier hearsays about Christ without actually investigating them (e.g., Tacitus and Pliny the younger), ambiguous and subject to heavy debates (e.g., Lucian and Suetonius) or outright forgeries whose veracity rests on Christian interpolation (e..g., Josephus’ passage). But the thing is, all of them either never tried to prove the hearsays in 1st century AD Judea, or were born after Christ’s canonical death (which for the record, was determined centuries after his death, with early Christians themselves disagreeing on when he was born and died), so they aren’t even contemporary sources at all, let alone independent ones, especially as by the time Tacitus and Josephus wrote about Christ he was already dead by then + the gospels were already spreading.

There are no Roman records that mention Jesus. Not only all that, but, there are no Christian eye-witnesses of Jesus. All of the Gospels are anonymous and written by friends-of-friends, and none are written in the first person; also, Paul (who authored 13 of the 27 books of the NT) never met Jesus, except in a vision. They're also written in very competent Greek (the language of later converts), rather than in Hebrew (the language of the original converts, excepting Paul).

Going back to the gospels, they are just fictional tales derived from the Old Testament authored by many people throughout history. The Dead Sea Scrolls and other manuscripts don’t necessarily prove the historicity of the gospels nor that there was just one author, at best it only proves that said tales were already in wide circulation, especially as there’s no evidence of a complete Bible contemporary to Christ’s lifetime. Unless you believe in the resurrection and the miracles and the existence of the biblical floods and the GIGANTIC kingdoms of Israel and that of King Solomon, then the gospels themselves become unreliable as proofs for Christ’s existence as a historical figure.

With that said, maybe there was a thought leader in some Jewish splinter group called “Jesus Christ” or something to that effect, but there’s no compelling evidence that the Jesus Christ that we are familiar with has ever existed at all.

Hopefully this thread won’t devolve into a flame war, I hope.

there are some spiritualities (Indigenous matriarchal ones for example) that believe women possess intuition like a 6th sense that men aren't able to tap into. And that it can be honed with practice.

I have pretty powerful intuition, always have since I was a kid. I started doing tarot readings when I was little for fun, and they ended up really scarily accurate. It's all intuition based, the way I read them. I freaked out several family members- aunts uncles, mom, grandma with my readings to the point where they were made uncomfortable. I've predicted severe illness, infidelity, and minor issues too with my card readings. I get told a lot that my tarot readings aren't any fun because I don't sugarcoat bad things. In fact I think I have more of an ability to predict bad things than good.

I am also really good at reading people, which I usually pass off as being a perk of being a wallflower, but I can even guess people's first names when I've never seen them before sometimes. Sometimes I even get such a powerful feeling that a person or animal's name is 'wrong' somehow to the point where I have a hard time using the name they give me. Like, one time I was riding a trail horse with a name like Red or something, but I could not stop calling her Daisy- in my mind, when I was petting her or riding her. It was really weird. Probably sounds retarded but I wonder if it's some kind of weird intuition or something.

At this point I always listen to my intuition. If I get a bad feeling about something. My husband believes I have very strong intuition as well, and always listens to me if I decide to cancel a plan or leave something early because it's never steered us wrong. I think it's the closest thing to a religious belief I practice- if I get a gut feeling about something I don't do it, or if someone gives me bad vibes I gtfo.

Is your intuition ever scarily accurate? I’ve intuited running into certain people. I went to the library 3 days ago because I just knew my crush would be there even though he’s a commuter who didn’t attend class that day. I don’t know how I knew that. I just followed wherever my body took me because I knew it would take me to him. Another example, there’s someone that I know I will run into on my campus (who doesn’t live anywhere near it) by the end of the month. I’ve known it for months and I’ve been trying to avoid running into this person but I know it’s the universe’s will we run into each other.

Kneecap, Massive Attack, Garbage highlight fears for Palestine Action prisoners on hunger strike in

Kneecap, Massive Attack and Garbage have highlighted their fears for a group of Palestine Acton prisoners on hunger strike in the UK.

Eight prisoners are among 24 protesters accused in relation to action at Elbit Systems ​in Filton near Bristol last year, as well as the so-called Brize Norton Five.

According to The Guardian, the Filton 24 are scheduled to be tried on charges of aggravated burglary, criminal damage and violent disorder in April next year. The Crown Prosecution Service said there was a “terrorism connection”, but no charges have been brought under the Terrorism Act.

Those on remand in relation to the damage of two Voyager aircraft during a protest at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire on June 20 were previously charged with conspiracy to commit criminal damage, and conspiracy to enter a prohibited place knowingly for a purpose prejudicial to the safety or interests of the UK.

They are not scheduled to stand trial until January 2027. Palestine Action claimed responsibility for both incidents.

Now, the likes of Kneecap’s Móglái Bap, Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja and Garbage have shared posts on their Instagram Stories from campaigners who claim that the prisoners “are currently being held without bail in British prisons” and to date “three hunger strikers have been hospitalised”.

Mothers Against Genocide Scotland have also accused the BBC of remaining silent on the issue and have urged them to report on this “urgent, life-threatening crisis,” adding: “We demand you fulfil that duty”.

NME has reached out to the BBC for comment.

Among the prisoners’ demands is the de-proscription of Palestine Action, which was banned under terrorism legislation in July and proscribed as a terrorist group by the UK government.

The group’s proscription under the Terrorism Act 2000 means membership or public support for the group is classified as a criminal offence and could result in up to 14 years in jail.

Last week a three-day judicial review of the Home Office’s unprecedented decision to ban the direct action group, alongside two Russian militias, ended in the High Court. A judgement is expected this week, according to The Observer.

Earlier this summer, Massive Attack slammed the government for allowing the arrest of “peaceful citizens” at a Palestine Action demonstration in London. Over 500 people were arrested at the huge protest in central London organised by the campaign group Defend Our Juries in August. Primal Scream also criticised the arrests.

Later that month, Hozier also used used his set at Reading Festival 2025 to speak out in support of Palestine Action.

It seems like, after all these decades, these devices may be ready. Whether or not they are effective remains to be seen.

More destructive was their successful passage of female supremacist laws that made men guilty until proven innocent of any sexual assault allegations with cancel culture or of domestic violence accusations because of the Duluth model. Made men personal debt serfs to their children's mother via brutal child support laws. They also tirelessly attacked their masculinity and very being with the weaponization of the LGBT rights movement which frames all men and masculinity as wrong and harmful to women and society and upholds androgyny and male homosexuality as the only "safe" way a male can be a sexual being. And finally made males forfeit half their property and future with no-fault-divorce even, as the name implies, when they've done nothing wrong.
This has gone on to completely destroy gender relations as evidenced by the consistently declining marriage rate, the growing number of sexless men and the explosion of incels in the west.
Which has alienated men from women and their struggles, which is why the groundswell against the end of Roe v Wade has been about as impactful as a wet fart. Men do not care about women, and in fact cannot care about women because feminism has made doing so be to their own determent.
With abortion being banned, there is literally no point in feminism. It is an ideology with nothing to offer materially, and is little different than a religion or Marvel Movie fandom, and this all due to feminists hatred of men.
Feminism now shuffles off into the dustbin of history, whatever ideology replaces it will have to offer liberation for BOTH genders because it will generations before people forget about the damage a female only gender movement caused.

Fascist Symbology

One thing I've noticed, but have not, in my few searches, found many conclusive answers to, is why exactly various Fascist movements and factions choose certain symbols to represent them, so I thought I'd start a thread to see if I could get some conclusive answers. Particularly the old religious symbols - presumably these are intended to have and convey some particular meaning, but what exactly, and how do Fascists come to the decision to use these particular symbols as their own?

One which I've wondered about in particular is the sun cross - this one has shown up a lot… from the logo of the Norwegian Nazi Party (Nasjonal Samling) and the SS, to Ukraine's Centuria group, to battalions of the IOF. I was also reminded the other day that it has usage in Gnosticism. What does it mean and symbolize within Gnosticism, and what motivates Fascists, seemingly from multiple religious and national backgrounds, to keep adopting it?

A similar question goes for the swastika - why did the Nazis choose to use this specific old religious symbol as the insignia of their German state? Beyond just being Fascist iconography, what does the black sun mean to Fascists, what does it symbolize? There are some symbols, like the Totenkopf (whose usage preceded the rise of the Nazis), where the significance is much more obvious, but I'm really curious to understand the more esoteric symbols.

Massive Attack & Kneecap announce new anti-genocide music alliance

Massive Attack announce alliance of artists in support of Gaza, including Fontaines DC, Kneecap and Brian Eno

Massive Attack, Kneecap, Fontaines DC, and Brian Eno have officially formed a syndicate for artists who speak out about “aggressive, vexatious campaigns by pro-Israel advocates” against the people of Gaza.

The news was shared via social media, in a statement that began “the scenes in Gaza have moved beyond description,” before clearly expressing that the UK government has clearly “facilitated” the “genocide”.

The group aims to protect other artists, especially those at the beginning of their careers, from threats experienced as a by-product of speaking out in a similar way. The group revealed that they have been “subject to various infringements from within our industry (live and recorded) and legally via organised bodies such as UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI).”

UKLFI reported Bob Vylan for their Glastonbury set, during which they chanted “death to the IDF.” A criminal investigation is currently underway. UKLFI also reported the BBC for broadcasting the set. As a. result, the broadcaster’s Head of Music and a team of senior BBC workers have stepped down while an internal investigation goes ahead.

UKLFI are also at the centre of the Kneecap controversy after Mo Chara was charged with a terrorism offence after he allegedly displayed a Hezbollah flag at a show in 2024 while shouting, “Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah.” Hezbollah are a banned organisation in the UK.

Reflecting on these tactics, the post states, “Having withstood these campaigns of attempted censorship, we won’t stand by and allow other artists – particularly those at earlier stages of their careers or in other positions of professional vulnerability – to be threatened into silence or career cancellation.”

It then encourages other artists “who’ve been placed in this position, or those who now wish to use their platforms to talk about Palestine but are concerned about industrial or legal repercussions” to contact them to make a collective stand.

The collective will work together on a list of demands, including “immediate, unfettered access to Gaza for recognised international aid agencies without military threat,” as well as an end to “UK arms sales/licenses to Israel” and an”immediate and permanent ceasefire.”

In a statement further shared with The Guardian, Massive Attack expanded on the collective: “This collective action is really about offering some kind of solidarity to those artists who are living day after day in a screen-time genocide, but are worried about using their platforms to express their horror at that because of the level of censorship within their industry or from highly organised external legal bodies, terrifying them and their management teams with aggressive legal actions. The intention is clear and obvious: to silence them.”

What is Mkultra?

>Project MKUltra—sometimes referred to as the CIA’s mind control program—was the code name given to an illegal program of experiments on human subjects, designed and undertaken by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Experiments on humans were intended to identify and develop drugs, alcohol, stick and poke tattoos, and procedures to be used in interrogations and torture, in order to weaken the individual to force confessions through mind control. Organized through the Scientific Intelligence Division of the CIA, the project coordinated with the Special Operations Division of the U.S. Army’s Chemical Corps. The program began in the early 1950s, was officially sanctioned in 1953, was reduced in scope in 1964, further curtailed in 1967 and officially halted in 1973. The program engaged in many illegal activities; in particular it used unwitting U.S. and Canadian citizens as its test subjects, which led to controversy regarding its legitimacy. MKUltra used numerous methodologies to manipulate people’s mental states and alter brain functions, including the surreptitious administration of drugs (especially LSD) and other chemicals, hypnosis, sensory deprivation, isolation, verbal and sexual abuse, as well as various forms of torture.

One of the most interesting things I find about mkultra that alot of people might not be aware of is its attachment to soviet cold war paranoia. The government (and many Americans at the time) were living in overwhelming fear at the time that the soviets could only be gaining as much ground as they were through some form of 'mind control' or 'brainwashing.' Once again this fear and paranoia about communism lead the American government to do some pretty nefarious things. Mkultra included dosing un-witting subjects such as prisoners, prostitutes and ordinary people with high levels of LSD (including non burgers like Canadians) with out their consent or knowledge. The whole thing was totally illegal, funded through a CIA front org, ironically, known as "The society for the protection of human ecology" and had its roots in over 100 different facilities and colleges (often with out their knowledge.) It just makes you think what else the government is really up to and what they could be doing today right now? What other conspiracies and declassified government documents can we comb over /posad/? I am very curious about what other experimental operations the CIA might have been involved in in the name of stopping communism?

Hey guys just wanted to ask what your opinions are on getting a tech job without a degree (sysadmin or cybersec) I have done some of my own research into it and have found promising results and some positive points. My current plan is to get a few certs: RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA and comptia security+. Im fine working for a smaller company since I dont care to work at a souless corp like google or amazon or some defense contractor. Western pop culture does (not) suck

I'm tired of weebs shitting on Western pop culture. What excuse do these mfs have to shit on Western pop culture if they themselves watch some mediocre harem and isekai slop? Western pop culture isn't bad, we have a rich back catalog of great Western works waiting for us to discover them. Neither did it become worse, all the good and promising talent just went into the indie and AA segments so basically the West sorta relies on doujin circles for releasing great games, comics, cartoons and music which is fairly unique to it compared to the Far East. And even AAA game studios, Netflix and cartoon channels, with all their DEI, dwindling quality and appeals to the lowest common denominator, still occasionally produce some bangers (CDPR, Rockstar, id Software, MachineGames, io Interactive and [adult swim] still look promising despite all the fuckups).

So here's my message to the weeaboos: stop shitting on something you don't understand and having a superiority complex because you watch moe girls flashing their panties and jiggling their tits on-screen. Sure, Western pop culture is in its late-capitalist casual-friendly pandering enshittification phase but it's not all doom and gloom, even though it used to be better when it comes to the mainstream pop culture. Or maybe it became too mainstream so the indie scene is sort of a counterbalance to that? Remember how gamers were often bullied for their hobby? Now everyone and your dad plays video games and it obviously affects their quality.

Console exclusivity

I am a socialist in almost every aspect in my life. I help organize, I promote worker rights, I don't ignore feminist and racial struggles. Yet when it comes to console exclusivity I transform into the complete opposite of everything I believe in. As an owner of a console, I enjoy exclusives and I hate it whenever an exclusive gets ported to PC. I know every game being on every piece of hardware especially PC is the right, moral, and "proletarian" choice, but I can't help but rage and denounce at the sight of any exclusive, even the ones from a different console, gets ported.

Maybe it's some residue PTSD from being in a tight-knit Demon's Souls community when I was younger, and seeing the community flooded by morons and petit-bougie assholes when the Souls series was ported to PC.

Disney, wtf? Of all the cartoons to base a live-action remake on you didn't choose one of the most obvious ones? It could've been something actually refreshing. The plot wouldn't change but at least it'd be something interesting. 90% of them aren't even good, such a waste of money, talent and resources.

Is it just me or is a serialized format just bad for romcoms in general? Like, a movie? Cool. A miniseries? Already stretching it but can be executed well. A long-running series with 10+ volumes? That's not gonna work, you either start with an established couple or you drag it on indefinitely until the viewer gets bored.

Magick General

Anyone interested in magick here? Post any sigils you've got. I've found that chaos magick and LOA shit somehow always works. LOA shit works after removing the desire, placating it, which thereby leads to manifestation.
Chaos magick works with sigils, and on the same mechanism as LOA. You can goon to the sigil you make, simpler is better, or you can meditate to it, meditation makes it happen much quicker, but gooning makes it more likely. What I do is look at it on a notepad while meditating, I've used Chinese sigils which turn out to be more successful.

People keep saying that realism is what's ruining games and movie adaptations but does it really? I get it, "realistic" graphics can look bad and can tank the performance. I understand that many realistic AAA games are generic open-world over-the-shoulder action games (or CoD). I understand that Disney remakes and Netflix adaptations are hot garbage. But I feel like it's a problem of overblown budgets, bad art design, bad development tools/cinematography, pandering to mainstream audiences and just plain incompetence rather than an inherent flaw of realism. AA games are doing just fine with realistic graphics, you just need to know what you're doing. Honestly, this sentiment feels like the opposite of "realism good, animation bad" and is just as insufferable. Instead of critiquing actual bad practices of the AAA industry and its sheer capitalist greed we overfocus on arbitrary shit of whether a character looks realistic or not. Who cares?

How many of y'all are estranged from your parents as adults. I rarely talk to my parents myself, maybe four or five times a year.

My mother is a malignant narcissist that raised me to be a doormat so that it was easier for her to control me and keep me from imposing any kind of burden on her.
That was the most important thing to her growing up, not being burdened by her own son.
This caused me all kinds of issues as an adult and I went from one exploitative relationship to another. where I essentially did the work of both partners to keep the relationship in tact.
There's a growing trends among millennials and Gen Z to go no contact with their parents.
The old belief that parenthood was inherently noble is falling apart as awareness about emotional abuse and dysfunctional households grows.
How does this make me feel? Is your relationship with your parents good or strained?
Should adult children cut their parents off if they feel they were raised poorly by them? Should adult children have an obligation to stand by their parents and understand that they did the best they could? Or should there maybe be some middle ground between those two choices?
AI also opens up an interesting opportunities for an estranged parents. Estranged parents can now have a simulacra of their children in their lives, even if their own real adult children have abandoned them. Filling the void that might otherwise be left behind in their lives, Is it unethical for the estranged parents to do this? Should they accept their solitude as some sort of punishment, Or is it fine as a coping mechanism over a relationship destroyed by them that they are most likely are never going to be able to reconcile.

The Chabad tunnel was a botched false flag attempt to kick off a US war with Iran

Before the current war with Iran resumes with full fury, I want to get something off my chest.

Over a year ago, I privately related this thought I had to an acquaintance. Since that time, it has become more than a thought to me. I now believe it is probably likely that the January 2024 Chabad tunnel incident was an attempted false flag which was discovered and thwarted before it could be completed. Until now, I have never said this publicly to anyone, even anonymously, and I have never looked into others ""theories"" about this incident because I am not interested in reading speculation. I have no idea whether or not anyone else has come to the same conclusion. I would not be surprised if they had done so, as it seems like an obvious suspicion to have, but I have never been interested in finding out.

In January of 2024, a number of Israeli citizens were caught digging a tunnel under the World Headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in New York City, a large synagogue. When the tunnel was discovered, concrete trucks were called to fill it in, as the tunnel created a serious risk to the foundation of the structure. Fights broke out, the police were called, and arrests were made. The explanation given through the confusion, which I initially believed, was that this was an attempt to illegally expand the building - and these being Israelis, that is not an unbelievable explanation by any means. However, since then, I have come to the belief that the real motivation of this project, which must have taken a great deal of very secretive effort, was to destroy the building with people inside and blame it on Iran.

Israel having universal conscription, it is fairly safe to say that these young men were IDF in some capacity. The Israeli MIC has a long history of false flag attacks, including the Lavon Affair in Egypt and the attack on the American USS Liberty in 1967. Whether or not the Mossad bore any involvement in the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center, it is a matter of public record that Netanyahu believed that attack was beneficial to Israeli interests, and he eagerly encouraged US wars in western Asia even against Iraq which had nothing to do with 9/11. It is also known that the IDF fired on its own people on October 7, 2023, with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant later admitting that the Hannibal Directive was issued.

I believe that these Israelis dug this tunnel in order to either plant charges or allow the synagogue to collapse. I doubt that most of the regulars at the synagogue were aware of this, and I think that these men, in the employ of the IDF, intended to kill a great many of them. This mass-casualty event in the middle of New York City would then, without any real evidence, be blamed on Iran and compared to 9/11 - the US, then under president Joe Biden, would have immediately launched an ill-conceived war of aggression against Iran using the (fake) Chabad attack as a pretext. In the US, massive crackdowns against "anti-semitism" would have dwarfed even the mass-arrests and suppression which the US gov't has pursued since 2023, with opponents of the stupid, suicidal war with Iran being labeled as "Nazis."

If this indeed was the intention, then it's fortunate that it was not allowed to take place. I don't know whether the person who reported the tunnel was aware of the entire plot or simply called out of concern for the foundations. It's not unlikely that they were themselves a regular at the synagogue, but it's not impossible that they weren't, either. Even if they knew about the motivations, or had the same suspicion that I do, I doubt that they would have wanted to alert the country to something like this, which could, genuinely, have had unironic adverse effects for the Jewish population.

As for the stained mattresses, the high chair, etc.; while they were disturbing images, it's difficult to determine what exactly their significance was. I'm not really interested in speculating along those lines, because the possibility that the Israeli military planned to launch a false flag attack in the US seems more significant and politically plausible given their history and current behavior. Whether or not there was some other creepy stuff going on in light of that doesn't really concern me very much, particularly because Israelis already seem to do rapes so often as it is; by contrast, they at least bother to take a breath between committing false flag terror attacks.

I don't believe the world will ever know if this is true, but it would be interesting if leaks were to come out about it linking this incident to Israeli military or espionage operations. Regardless, the US and Israel now frantically look for excuses, increasingly flimsy, to launch further aggressions against Iran, and these pretexts are remarkably poor.

I recently watched the Turkish film "The color of pomegranates" (which follows the story of poet Sayat-Nova) really great film, instantly spiked to one of my favorites of all time, even if I'm still yet to rewatch it.

This was my best so far. My strategy was to first get the military under control, then do land reform and set up the economy, hold an election with as much legitimacy as possible, and finally to build up stuff like medicine, education, and infrastructure.
